To my favorite mom...the best mom ever!!

Grandma with her favorite grand baby

Today is the day that we get to celebrate mom's awesomeness! All of us kids in the smith clan have been blessed with the best mom ever! I thought that it was fitting that both of the pictures in this post are of mom with dad. She wouldn't have it any other way!
Mom has always been an excellent example of unconditional love. She has always loved us kids no matter what we did... and I must admit, sometimes it had to have been a struggle to maintain that love for me! :) Mom has sacrificed so much of her time and talents throughout the years, and has been successful in directing that energy into her children's lives. As a result, she has some pretty awesome kids!
Mom enjoys going on walks with dad, talking to her kids on the phone, traveling with her family to far off lands (usually just her husband... and that is okay), learning more about the gospel, teaching, loving, and most recently... being a grandma! All who call her mom (or, mom-cat!) are grateful for her enduring love, her wonderful smile. We are all so grateful for having such a wonderful mom who raised us in righteousness and continues to be a great example to us all. WE LOVE YOU MOM!

Thank you Dane. I feel so blessed. Looking back, it wasn't too hard but we forget the hard times and so.....life is good.

I meant to say THANK YOU to all four of you for the gift certificate to the spa in TriCities. How nice of all of you - - especially since you are all on a short budget. Thank you for your sacrifice and love.
You're the best!!!!!!!!!

What? Dane made that post!? I didn't even realize till Mom said thanks to Dane for the post. Has Dane ever made a post on here?
Ok...enough about that, all I have to say in response to his big surprise post is, "Here, here!"
