I am so glad to see that Emalei thought to post a birthday message. I thought to the same thing but was beaten to it. At least Mom knows that she is loved. I remember the day she was born, looking down from Heaven, waiting for her to grow up and get married so that we could join her again... wait, actually I don't, but it's a nice thought. One of my favorite things about Mom is that she always answers her phone when I call her... even though I call her nearly every day, sometimes twice, while I am walking up to campus or back home from campus. I always like talking to her, even when we have nothing to say. Sometimes those are the best conversations though and they wind up lasting over an hour. She has become one of my best friends as I have gotten older. I love you Mom! Happy Birthday!! (On the 10th of course.... :)

Thanks Abbie, not sure I like the picture but thanks anyway. The family we HT that have come and made cookies with me brought me a couple of presents tonight. How sweet is that. The little 8 year old had it in a "journal" she has and has remembered. Thanks for your kind words. love you
Thniking of you today, and since I am not flying--for a change--will leave this note instead of sending a postcard from Omaha or Des Moines or Albequerque or somewhere lame. I remember the day you were born. We were thrilled to get the news you had arrived safe and healthy--and were a girl!
Janet,
I am wishing you the very best of birthdays. I have really enjoyed getting to know you better via the blogs, I feel like when we get together that we know things and there is a familiarity there that wasn't before. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Happy, happy Birthday Janet Dear.
Happy Birthday Aunt Janet. We hope you have a fantastic day.
Happy Birthday Mom. I'm sure that Dad has something great planned for you. Probably a very tasty dinner. If I added some hot tub to my evening, that would make it a perfect birthday. Love you Mom!
Happy b-day Mom Cat! I'm glad we were able to chat today, and glad that Em-doggie and Abster are on the ball and made posts. I love you, and remember..."I'm not aging, I'm marinating!"

Happy Birthday! (sorry a little late) I hope that your day was as amazing and you are!!
happy belated birthday! hope your new year in life is full of fun and adventure! enjoy!
I'm another one who has enjoyed your family blogging. It has helped me feel more connected with you all. I really liked the birthday pictures, and find it fascinating that couples start resembling each other as they grow old together, or should I say, as they 'birthday' together.
Happy belated birthday, Aunt Janet.
