MERRY CHRISTMAS - - COME IN

(I know a couple of people who did this, so I'm copying them - -hope you enjoy)

It's blizzarding out - - please come in and get warmed up!

It's a

to welcome you in.

If you enjoy the snow, come and look at my artificial villages. They are so warming to look at, even though there's snow.

If you're still cold, come closer to the fireplace and we'll start a fire to warm you up.

Come and make yourself comfortable on the love seat. While sitting there, you can enjoy the nativity set that Bill brought me back from Bethelem.....

.......or there's more room on the couch where you can still feel the spirit of Christmas by looking at the nativity that Dale, a hard working student, bought me 2 years ago with his student discount combined with a sale.

Dinner is almost ready. I'm using my new 12 Days of Christmas dishes, table cloth and napkins that Bill gave me last year.

It makes such an attractive and inviting table setting.

I was hoping you wouldn't notice that the tree didn't have the top on it yet.

We bought a new tree this year and it is 9 feet tall. I decided rather than drag a ladder into the house, I'd wait and have Dane top the tree with the star. He'll be here Saturday night.

Now that our tummies are full, come into the piano room and I'll play some Christmas carols for you. A dear friend gave me two new books and I absolutely love the arrangements. I love Christmas music and even more when shared with guests in our home.

Now that dinner has settled a little, come back into the kitchen and lets have some hot cocoa and sugar cookies. Nothing says Christmas better than some good sugar cookies and no better way to relax after dinner and some music.

We have enjoyed having you in our home tonight. Before you leave, let us take you downstairs to watch a short video on Christ's birth. Thank you for coming and have a Merry Christmas.
