We went to church on Sunday in Lucerne (Emalei and Fabio's ward) and afterwards went to visit Emalei's school. It was a foggy day and cold but we were still able to see the charm.
Emalei's school. It was remodeled from an old house on Lake Lucerne

After visiting Emalei's school, we drove to Bern. The temple is there but I can't find the picture we took at the temple. It is a beautiful temple. We went to Old Town Bern and had some lunch and walked around. There were lots of people out with their families and dogs. Such a fun atmosphere.

We climbed a bell tower in Old Town. I have climbed many a bell tower in Europe and swore this would be the last one. I just couldn't stand the thought of staying behind on my own. So...here's some pictures taken at the top of the bell tower.

Look at those beautiful mountains!!!!!!

Monday we did some grocery shopping in Zug, did some meal preparations and then went to Lucerne to tour around and then picked Emalei up after school. We had alot of fun walking around Old City Lucerne. This is where Emalei lived the first two weeks she was in Switzerland alone.

Everywhere I turned, I kept seeing this good looking guy so I had to take a picture of him. He was so much a part of the trip and the good time I had.

Stayed tuned for the next post. It will be of Munich and visiting Dachau concentration camp.

Oh, mom! I miss you guys! We had so much fun! I'm glad you got to come and that you seemed to enjoy it as much as we do. :) ANd...nice one, Abbie. I was so confused about the first three comments.
Janet, this is Sister Yetter in Maryland. I looked at your pics from Switz. Brought back memories. The two in Lucerne with the bridges - I think we have shots from same place - in photos from our trip there years ago. Hope you don't mind my checking out your blog. Got there from Amanda's.
