I can't believe I didn't respond to this post previously. I can tell you that when I visited Dale in Spokane earlier this month he'd already made this picture of Ella the background on his lap top.
Looks like Abbie is continuing a Smith family tradition of putting words into the mouth of those who can't speak yet. Seriously, she looks like wishing Dale Happy Birthday is exactly what she would have said if she could.
