HAPPY HALLOWEEN
Just wanted to put a post saying have a spooktacular day today - - everyone. It was always fun to put costumes together and then go show Grandma Smith. Bill will miss the little kids coming trick-or-treating but we bought Dale a bag of candy and he'll be continuing the tradition in Spokane. We are leaving at 1pm today for Switzerland to visit Emalei and Fabio. It has snowed there and she said it's like a winter wonderland. I can't wait. For Dale, Dane, and Harold - - think of us at 4:55pm mountain time. We'll be on the non-stop Delta flight SLC to Paris. I can't tell you how excited I am to not have to fly to the east coast to catch a flight to Europe. Anyway, I will send pictures along when we get home.

Why does Emalei look so bitter in each picture? Was that part of the character? Classic photos. Once we were all in the same room and now we are spread all throughout the world!
Oh my gosh, I had a good laugh over these pictures! Dane is so cute as a clown! Seriously...and Dale...I've never seen you so happy as in the first photo! (BOO on you...I am not bitter, but witches aren't supposed to be happy and by the second photo I never smiled with my mouth open because my teeth were crooked!) Ahem, anyway, :) Hope everyone had a happy Halloween!
Not to bring up memories best forgotten, but could I just say "Easter Parade, NYC, 1985," Ring any bells Emalei??

Funny your flight was at 4:55 p.m. because I was born at 4:55 a.m. that day. I was awake and super tempted to call my mother, kind of a deja-vu thing for her, 39 years later. :)
SLC to Paris, amazing! We did Denver to London about 10 years ago and it rocked! Have a super trip and lots of fun with Em.
Ok. You all are hilarious. I love the comments already made. I totally remember that princess costume but I could have sworn that I was the blue princess... maybe a different year. You want to talk about scary? Check out that pic of me as a vampire. Geez. How embarrassing.
