SORRY BILL

I don't mean to make fun of Bill in any way but this was way too funny not to share. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, Tonya brought her kids by to visit during spring break. We had the girls play the piano for us and Bill sat in the chair and listened as he does alot while I'm practicing the piano. Well, this past Wednesday, he came in to the office while I was working and said something to this effect.

Bill: Janet what did we do with the big chair and ottoman that we had in Sunnyside.
Janet: What one are you talking about? Describe it to me.
Bill: You know it was a big, over stuffed chair that had a matching ottoman and when you sat in it you sank down low. We had it in the Sunnyside house and I was wondering why we didn't keep it.
Janet: (in amazment, wondering if this was real) You mean the chair in the piano room? The one you sat in just a few weeks ago listening to the Winter girls and sit in all the time when I play the piano?

He turned around without saying a word and walked out. I followed him and we both just laughed and laughed. I thought it was kind of scarey but he assured me that he doesn't really pay close attention to things. You think????? That was a little extreme. Please bare with us as we get older. I would safely say, at this point we are still pretty dependable. Keep us in check so we can take the measures necessary to stay sane. Thanks

Just for proof that we do have the chair and that Bill does sit in it, here's the picture I took of him in it while Desiree and Melia were playing for us.

Thanks for sharing. I'm feeling better already! Tell me again how we're related??

(Not to change the subject, BUT, is anyone out there a Leona Lewis fan like me?? I started hearing snippets of her new CD here and there and it caught my attention. I took a listen to it at B&N earlier this week and was sold as soon as I listened to track 8 - "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face." Mother and I used to love Roberta Flack's version of this song and I've got it on Repeat right now. Not tired of it yet.)

That is hilarious! That is totally something my father would do. I like the new car as well. I have a civic and love it, though it is not a hybrid....but it still gets 35 mpg...which makes those trips to Seattle a little more affordable.

Wow Dad, how is that trip to the mountains sounding? Where would you like to go? Mt Rainier? Olympics? Rockies? Just let me know.

I do it to Bill, I do. So if it took you this long to have a burp in your memory, you should be feeling great!
