As a grandma, I have every right to brag. I think my little granddaughter is the cutest thing ever. I might even be bold enough to say she's cuter than my babies but that would only be because I haven't gotten exhausted by sleepless nights, new teeth coming in, ear infections and just plain 'I'm bored today' attitudes. We think little Ella is a sweetheart and we can't wait to go see her on her birthday March 12. Could it be possible that one year has gone by? Slow down baby girl. We aren't getting to spend enough of your life with you. (She is a petite little girl - -only 17 pounds - - so I feel like she's more of a baby than she really is. My last two babies were brutes. One started out at 10lbs 10oz so Ella doesn't have him beat by much at 1 year)

Grandma and Grandpa are coming Ella - - hold on one more week.
{This is the story behind the pictures that follow. Abbie had 8 yards of flannel material that she had just washed and laid out on the floor. Ella took one look at it - - crawled over to it - - and proceeded to crawl around in circles and then lay her head down. She repeated the process over and over for about 30 minutes } Now isn't that the cutest thing you've ever heard?

Aww booboo... she's so cute. Now if she would only go back to taking two naps a day. Grr...
She really is cute...and so lucky to have you as Grandparents. I love that you are going to be there for her birthday. I think it should be illegal for families to have to be appart. :)
I think that being grandparents must be the reward for being parents. Your children are grown up, and the crying babies go back to "mom" when they are sad.....Have fun in VA!
