BYU football and ballroom dance

Sadly, the two of them did not mix yesterday. Scott was competing in SLC and I had tickets to the football game. You would think this would be an easy choice but Mom and Dad gifted us the tickets and I didn't want them to go to waste. We missed the first game because we were in Hawaii. The third game it was snowing/raining and about 35 degrees so we didn't go. And the excuses could continue so I stayed home and Scott competed without his wife watching. He will compete at BYU this coming weekend so I will get some real pictures of him then. Here are some pictures from the the game, a picture of the medals Scott won from dancing yesterday and then a video of Scott and his partner Allie practicing about two weeks ago. He might be mad that I posted a picture of them practicing but it's all I have. :)Lucky for me, I got to hang out with Dale yesterday which is always a treat. It's fun finding new bonds with family members. Dale and I have gotten pretty tight since I came back to BYU last fall and as you know, he always comes over for dinner so I usually see him about 4 times a week.

BYU won 35-16. It looks like we're on our way to another MWC Championship!

Scott's medals. I don't know what places they are... I think third. He's at work at the MTC this morning and I found them on the couch when I got out of bed. I'm so proud of him!

Maybe Scott could be the next contendant on Dancing With The Stars. :) Seriously, looks fun and I'm proud of you. Good picture of Abbie and Dale also.

I swear Janet, does your computer ring an alarm bell or something when a new post is put up on this site? It's uncanny how quick you respond to new posts!

Looks like a great day in Provo yesterday.

Take care all.

Relax, Beth. I don't have a bell on the computer but I do have a daughter who calls me and tells me she's made a new post. I just like to keep posted to our family blog.

Ab,

I loved the video, wish we could see the competition in person.

I am DYING for the low-down on the ultrasound today. Don't make us wait any longer!
