The New Aunt Beth...

Ask me if I can believe I went along with Emalei's suggestion (aka command) that I needed to update my image by coloring my hair? This came about as a result of one of the site sisters referring to me as Emalei's grandmother. For whatever reason, I was in the right mood and off we went to Rite Aid for the ingredients to make it happen!

We were both quite pleased with the finished product. Thanks to Emalei's expertise (when did she go to beauty school?) and my terrific hair, the process went smoothly.

THANK YOU EMALEI!! AB

AB, I always love coloring my hair it makes me feel so good! You look great and since we have never met I am enjoying put a face with the initials! :)

You are inspiring me to go out and get my own happy hair color box from Wal-Mart.

Thanks Jeanna. I've been so committed to leaving my hair its natural color (which I like) that I fought coloring it. It is fun. I haven't done it since I was in high school and it wasn't nearly as dramatic as this change is.

Can't imagine there are many who read this blog who haven't already heard from Em. Everything looked to be going smoothly when I dropped her off at the airport earlier today.

We had the best time. She definitely left her imprint on the front bedroom/office. In fact, her body shape is still imprinted on the day bed; she became quite fond of it this trip.... Can I just mention that the quote "assume the position" took on new meaning.

Of course, I'm thinking of Dane and Bridget and how excited they must be with their wedding just hours away. Thank heavens for blogs and digital pictures. Can't wait to see how everyone looks.

Love it Beth! Now there are two new family members, Bridget and the 'new' AB!
Jill recently did an extreme blond to satin black hair job and it took very well for her. I'm one who has just been content with the original color.
