Running for Two

That is the name of my new favorite blog. Since becoming pregnant, and with the colder temperatures, I've become rather non-chalant about my running. About two weeks ago I decided that at 5 1/2 months, I had run for enough of my pregnancy and quit. Since that decision I had felt somewhat of a lacking feeling and I also didn't feel as healthy. I have been a subscriber to Runner's World newsletters for over a year now and I usually see them in my inbox and quickly delete them. But on Thursday the title "Caution: Pregnant Runner" caught my eye and upon further investigation I found this blog address: http://runningfortwo.runnersworld.com/
I was inspired to run again and this morning with a temperature of 16 degrees I set off on a run. It felt exhilarating to be back out again, in my running shoes and pants, with my i-Pod playing my favorite running songs. I'm not fast, nor did I run very far, and for all I know this inspiration might only last a couple of days but it's something I wanted to share and maybe some of you can become inspired by one of the Runner's World blogs. I also included a picture of the baby making my stomach protrude. We are at 6 months tomorrow and are very excited to have made it this far. Please remember though, this is also what I look like when I set out on my runs.
**NOTE TO MOM**I wanted to apologize to Mom. Each time I have wanted to post, I go to post and she's posted and then I feel bad and don't want to put anything down for a couple of days. Today is the 2nd time it has happened and since I forgot what I wanted to write last time, I went ahead and posted. Mom, your post is way cooler than mine.

You're looking pretty fit my dear. I chuckled tho when you told us to remember that this is how you look before you hit the road. Since we can't see your face, it seemed somewhat of a moot point.

The quickness of your move reminds me of a move your dad made years ago when he was at BYU. I believe I was moving at the same time and he said he'd be up as soon as he was done with his move. Well, he arrived in plenty of time to help with my move. His move took one trip with the backseat of his car full; mine took a few pick-up truck loads, and this was in 1974 as I recall. One of the guys helping took a look at my shoe collection and wanted to know if I was related to the Mafia.

I have been doing my Walk Away the Pounds DVD because once the snow hit the road I got paranoid about slipping and falling and whacking my head on pavement. I have a certain affinity for my noggen mind you.

Be careful out there. I get worried!
