Bill and I used to take the kids to this little town nestled up in the mountains about 2 hours from our home. It's a cute little village whose architecture is done in the Bavarian style. Each Christmas season they decorate with lights, ornaments and decorations. All the little shops are dressed up for Christmas. Emalei came over from Seattle to meet up with us and we got to spend the day together. It's so nice to have her close and share in the things that we do as a couple. Enjoy the slide show!

Mom! I love the slideshow and everything that you wrote about! :) Now all we need to hope is that Scott will get into a law school close to home.
Abbie,
Thanks for your major help. You forgot to sign out of mom/janet when you posted your comment. It's okay, I just appreciate your help with the slideshow. It was a nice day. I wish you all could have been there. You'd love it. Em said it isn't how she had remembered it. Thanks again for the help on the slide show. :)
mom,
Thanks for such a fun day! The drive back was SCARY, but since I'm home safe now, it was all so worth it! Such a Christmassy thing to do!
Burr, based on how well-dressed everyone was in their winter gear, it must have been pretty chilly. Mother and I went with you once when I was out years ago, earlier in the fall. Has it been developed a lot over time in terms of new additions, etc?
Boy, until AB piped in, I was pretty impressed Janet with web your increasing web tecg=hnology skills... I'm still impressed tho.
Well, it's cold and I'm tired. My little flannel-sheeted bed sounds pretty cozy right about now. Speaking of cozy, I was in WalMart last week and saw something I hadn't seen before - heated mattress pads. I don't need one because of the flannel sheets, but boy, I bet that's pretty toasty. I strongly dislike getting into a cold bed when it's cold outside.
Adios.
Aunt Beth
I absolutely love those quaint little towns. So fun to shop, see the sights, have some different foods. Looks cold, but fun!
Looks dang fun mom. Glad you guys had fun. I miss Washington. So beautiful.
