Cobwebs, Fog and Crows
The following pictures show what it looked like when I stepped outside my apartment this morning when I went out for a run. (Did I tell anyone I'm training for a half marathon in Feb?) It looks a little spooky, huh? There was no one out (it wasn't that late...maybe 9:00) and it had that quiet, eery feel. As I started walking, I started running into all these cobwebs and as I looked around, they were EVERYWHERE! Just on the bushes outside my apartment, there must have been at least 20! And as I started running, I noticed that almost every bush and tree had several cobwebs, some with big fat spiders in them!!! EWWWW! I had to duck my head and swerve several times to avoid running into more cobwebs. I said there was no one out, but there were plenty of black crows. Of course, when I took my camera out I couldn't find any...go figure, but they were everywhere, being loud and annoying as usual. Anyway, what a morning! Just one more thing to add to the list of things that makes the Northwest interesting and unique!

Perfect for Halloween! It's raining here too and I said to Scott, this is what it will be like if we move to Seattle. Fun pictures.
That last pic of the spider webs is so fake looking, like someone placed them there just for Halloween. Crazy. I hope you didn't get any spiders on you, EWWW.
Those webs were probably there all the time but just became apparent with the heavy moisture. I hate it when you're walking along and feel the cobwebs on your face but I have to admit they are a work of art.
Wow, I can't believe those are for real! I really did think they were Halloween decorations. Yikes.
