So I thought I would share my favorite Conference talk as well as my four months baby bump picture. They kind of relate. I actually had three favorite talks; they were President Eyring's, Elder Oaks' and Julie's talks. I will relate Julie's talk and why I enjoyed it so much. First of all, I loved how her talk spoke to mothers. Her first main point was that mother's who know bear children. From the moment I was married I knew that I wanted to start trying for kids right away but when I actually became pregnant I was often more worried than excited. I worried about how we would provide for this baby, how we would balance work and school, etc. Julie's talk reminded me of the reason why we began trying almost right away. She also mentioned that mother's who know are nurturers. To me, that interpreted into being a stay at home mom so that my children will be raised and nourished by me. That was one of the biggest blessings to me was having a mother whom I knew was always at home waiting for us, whom we could call when we were sick at school, etc. I want to be that kind of mother for my children. Mothers who know do less she said. I want to make that my goal, that I will spend less time on the internet, less time doing frivolous things and more time tending, playing and watching over my children. I can't really describe what her talk meant to me, but I felt it and that's all that matters to me. Enjoy the four month (today!) picture. Not the best, I think I look bigger in real life but oh well. I'm also in my pajamas ps.

yes, I liked Julie's talk also. She has a good way of presenting topics. Cute baby you have!!!!
I liked that talk too. She presents her ideas in such an intelligent way. I like that, it makes me feel like she knows we are intelligent women.
Go baby bump!
I couldn't agree more AB about your choice--it was superb in terms of content and delivery (no pun intended).
Thanks for the pic and for clarifying those are pj's. Who knew!! It would be inappropriate for me to post a pic of myself in my pj's....
In the "world's" view, your decision to begin a family so soon following your marriage is a bit risky. Fortunately, you have a more "eternal" view regarding bearing children.
Tell Baby Bump Rufener hello from Aunt Beth. Is Bump listening to Mozart yet? You know don't you that "Babies Need Mozart" (see CD of same name)?
