Dane- "Hello one and all! Bridget and I are typing this together to bring you a quick update about what we did this weekend."
Bridget- "Dane surprised me with an amazing drive up through Provo Canyon, past Sundance, and back down through American Fork Canyon to see the leaves changing colors...It was so beautiful! Highly recommended to anyone in Provo this time of the year. There were still remnants of green left in patches all over the mountains. I can only imagine what it will look like in a week or two!"

Dane- "It was such a nice drive! After that we dropped by Bridget's mission reunion really quick, and then went to dinner at a Hawaiian Grill. We had ice cream afterwards and then ended the evening by watching the entire first season of "The Office". Thankfully the first season is only 6 episodes, so we didn't completely waste our lives away! I am slowly becoming addicted to that show! And by slowly I mean quickly..."
Bridget- "I am glad to be able to see Dane through his re-adjusting-phase from the mission....welcome home. Ha Ha."
Dane- "Lets save the pleasantries for later...so then saturday we went hat shopping and got ourselves some pretty darn sweet hats... the picture of us with hats on is us showcasing the two I got. I got the dark blue one for 70% off!
Well I think that is the reader's digest version of our weekend. Enjoy your week!"

I don't know...it's going to be difficult to one up Seattle on the fall colors! But I do remember driving through Provo Canyon once in the fall and thinking it reminded me of a bowl of Trix cereal. :)

Dane,
Good to see your post. Looks and sounds like fun.

Bridget,
I'm depending on you to keep my boy focused on his studies. :)

Dear Padres,
Why you hatin'? Who wants to hear about me sittin' in the library for hours on end. I already have 2 hours logged in the library and I am about to log another two right now. "Playas be playin'"!!

Dearest Dane's Padres,
To be completey honest, this was the first weekend when the bulk of our time has not been in the library. Your son is working hard, and helping to keep me focused as well. It's a symbiotic relationship.:) We work hard and then we play hard...Thanks for yout support!

Dane and Bridget,

Sounds like a fun weekend, but here is a little tip for the future: Never, ever tell your parents you are having fun while at school. They don't want to hear that, they only want to know you are extremely diligent in your studies. So, your next post should be full of pictures of you looking miserable at the library (as that is exactly how I feel every time I step through those doors) Oops, did I say that out loud?
