The Great PROSSER BALLOON RALLY

Here are some of the reasons why we love this little town. Events like this are alot of fun. This weekend is the 18th annual balloon rally. There were 37 balloons that took off around 7am. We decided to make a party of it so we invited the Martins and the Ricks to join us for the excitement. We supplied breakfast, the view and they supplied the good company . As you will see from the slide show, it was spectacular

Your Dad's hot drink mix supply. :)

Yummmmmmmmmmm!!!

The pick for day for breakfast was cinnamon rolls, frosting, variety of fruit and good clean company. :)

Bill and Bruce checking the balloons out from the deck. Lots of fun.

When we were done watching the balloons, we went downtown and looked at the vending booths and the coolest event of all was the street art. They had sectioned off certain blocks and artists were chalking pictures on the street. Most of them were very impressive. We're going back down around 4pm to see the finished products.

Hope you enjoy the Great Prosser Balloon Rally vicariously through us.

Wish you all could have been here.

Tonight is the Night Glow

They will anchor about 10 balloons to the football field and light them. We'll walk down with our flashlights and enjoy the night.

What a fun way to spend your Saturday, and right in your backyard, literally! Great moving picture show (I'm impressed with with your computer saviness)

While you're out balloon watching, I'm back in Syracuse slaving away at moving. The balloon show sounded so fun. Is that a cape William's wearing? Was he thinking of taking off from the balcony to join the balloons?

I'm at my friend Ashford's using his pc. Thank goodness for friends.

The move went very well. Actually moving in is still in the early stages. VERY early to be exact. I'm looking forward to another week of sorting, tossing, donating, etc. I am NOT going to put everything back in place like it was. There's still time to come help Janet!

You can imagine my excitement when I got home from the RS broadcast (which was great) and hooked up the TV to find out not only was the cable working (I was told not until 10/3) BUT it was the entire range of stations. Can everyone spell HGTV! And who knew it was L&O: Criminal Intent marathon weekend on USA Network? I'm taping it for future enjoyment.

We had the most beautiful weather for the move yesterday. Cool and sunny. Couldn't have asked for better.

Take care.

Love, Aunt Beth

Janet,

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to comment on this post. I saw the pics the other day and was so insanely jealous. I have longed to see balloons in the early morning hours of July 4 in Provo, but alas getting up at 5 a.m. has never thrilled me. We could have used some of that cocoa around here on Saturday, it was CHILLY!
