Share the love...Give blood!

So you all may remember that I mentioned in yesterday's blog that I was waiting in line to give blood. This was maybe my 10th to 12th time giving blood, but I was with my girlie-friend Bridget, and she had never given blood before. She was a little nervous, but I was able to use my charm to convince her to do it! Thanks to me, and the help of a kind male nurse (props out to Dad!) Bridget was able to successfully give without passing out! It was a great success, and we even got in 4 hours of studying that night! Aren't we amazing?!

Good for you for giving blood. Have you heard the stories of your Dad and I taking turns giving blood when we were at the Mayo Clinic? They gave money back then and each time you gave blood you'd get $25. So, I'd give blood and we'd use that money to go on our monthly date. That would pay for dinner, a movie and the babysitter. The next month, your Dad would give blood. Those were the days.

I can't give blood because I lived in Europe for too long. Lame.

I can't give blood due to my exposure to mad cow disease while on my mission in Scotland. Way to go Dane and Bridget.
